This year seems to be moving on apace - Waddington turned out to be a pretty good show, although far smaller than in previous years.  As expected, the USAF turnout was extremely small, but the fantastic weather more than made up for it.  RAF Fairford is next weekend and is looking to be another good show, although (again) there's relatively little new as there will not be a Raptor this year.

On the modelling front, things are looking pretty good!  The Italeri XB-70 is out in the shops, as are the Sword P- and RF-80's, and the rumours of a new F-4E from Academy are not going away!  The Hasegawa re-releases continue apace and the F-102/F-106 joint kit is due out soon, although at a price.

On the accessory side, the resin and etched manufacturors are continuing to deluge us with new offerings, and Spectre Accessories are due to release the first in their series of US Special Weapons soon...

The SIG is relatively quiet at the moment - our next show will be Scale Modelworld, although there is the possibility of an appearance at the Newark & Notts show.
