Mostly built OOB but with scratchbuilt cockpits, resin seats, maingear borrowed from 1/48th Monogram B-58, nose wheels from same kit, decals from spares box only the red walkways being used from the kit.  Little-Cars red and clear lenses used forthe lights, and undercarriage bays rebuilt with plasic rod, lead wire and brass rod.

Painting- SR-75....Xtracrylix ADC grey, Gunze Mr Hobby matt white, Tamiya NATO black, (various tones), Tamiya flat black,(again various tones), Klear coat, Vallejo semi matt clear varnish, ..panel lines pre and post shaded with Tamiya smoke, all finished off using ProModellers dark and light washes, Windsor and Newton burnt umber and lamp black oils, (thinned with pure turpentine) and various HB pencil graphite powder.

XR-7 Thunderdart....airbrushed using Alclad prismatic hot metal sepia, blue, jet exhaust, gold, duralumin, white aluminium, magnesium, (and various combinations of all of them) polished using SnJ aluminium polishing powder ...panel effects using Tamiya smoke, HB pencil graphite, ProModellers light wash, oil and turpentine and decals from the spares box again.

Ground set Hasegawa aeropace ground support kit.

Build time 12 days.............great fun, ''what-if...if only'' build!
