Modern Hobbies LLC is a new manufacturer dedicated to producing resin in 1/72nd scale for US aircraft - quite unusual as they are an American manufacturer too! Greg Williams, the proprietor of MH has chosen some very interesting subjects, many of which have never been produced before in 1/72nd.
As their first subject, MH have chosen the AN/ALQ-188 ECM pod as used by the aggressor F-15's and F-16's of the 57 FWW. The pod is moulded crisply in tan resin and there are 5 parts - the main unit and the 4 antenna. There appear to be various versions of this pod with differing sizes of antenna, and the MH resin replicates one of the common variations.
All in all, this is a great start for MH - and extremely useful for anyone producing an Aggressor F-15 or F-16.
