Miliverse is not a well known name, but they have produced a beautiful decal sheet for an unusual subject!
In 1993 a detachment of the Royal Singaporean Air Force's F-16C/D Fighting Falcons was set up in collaboration with the United States Air Force, and this was know as "Peace Carvin II". About 100 RSAF personnel operated under a joint RSAF-USAF command within the USAF 425th Fighter Squadron of the 56th Fighter Wing at Luke AFB. They currently operate a mixture of F-16C's and D's - all block 52 aircraft.
Miliverse's sheet provides markings for both of the F-16D-52's which were marked for the anniversary, and includes both the anniversary markings and full stencilling. The sheet is in perfect register and includes metallic elements where appropriate. The two airframes featured are:-
- F-16D-52 96-6035 - the 425th FS flagship which carried the flags of both Singapore and the USA on the fin; and
- F-16D-52 96-6034 - carrying a red fin with the front half of a Merlion to celebrate 20 years of the Peace Carvin II detachment.
Both aircraft are in a four tone grey scheme of FS36375, FS36270, FS36320 and FS36118 which will require some complex masking.
Instructions comprise an A5 4 sided booklet in color and a separate A5 double-sided sheet. Left and right side views are provided for each aircraft together with upper and lower camouflage schemes.
