Print Scale decals sheet 72-268 "General Dynamics F-111A" provides markings for nine different F-111As, eight of which are from the USAF. The aircraft are:-
- F-111A 67-0076 "NA" from the 429th TFS, 474th TFW based at Takhli RTAFB, Thailand during November 1972. This carried white "NA" tailcodes and a yellow fin band;
- F-111A 67-0068 "NA" from the 429th TFS, 474th TFW based at Takhli RTAFB, Thailand during December 1972. This also carried white "NA" tailcodes and a yellow fin band;
- F-111A 67-0098 "NA" from the 430th TFS, 474th TFW based at Takhli RTAFB, Thailand during October 1972. This carried white "NA" tailcodes and a red fin band;
- F-111A 66-0016 from Det 1 of the 428th TFS, 474th TFW based at Takhli RTAFB, Thailand during March 1968 as part of Project Combat Lancer. This carried the Combat Lancer emblem on the rudder and subdued black serial numbers on the tail;
- F-111A 66-0024 from Det 1 of the 428th TFS, 474th TFW based at Takhli RTAFB, Thailand during April 1968 as part of Project Combat Lancer. This carried the Combat Lancer emblem on the rudder and subdued black serial numbers on the tail;
- F-111A 66-0021 from Det 1 of the 428th TFS, 474th TFW based at Takhli RTAFB, Thailand during April 1968 as part of Project Combat Lancer. This carried the Combat Lancer emblem on the rudder and subdued black serial numbers on the tail;
- F-111A 67-0078 from the 429th TFS, 474th TFW based at Takhli RTAF, Thailand during September 1972. This carried white "NA" tailcodes and a yellow fin band;
- F-111A 67-0081 from the 429th TFS, 474th TFW based at Korat RTAFB, Thailand during May 1975. This carried white "HG" tailcodes.
All aircraft carried variations of the standard South East Asian scheme, comprising FS34079, FS34102 and FS30219 upper surfaces with black undersurfaces.
As normal for Print Scale, decals comprise a single side view of each aircraft, with an additional set of upper and lower schemes showing basic stencilling (note that sufficient stencilling is provided for a single aircraft).
There are some errors on the sheet. The "stars and bars" of the US insignia are both too light a blue, and have the red bars misaligned. The white markings also appear slightly translucent, although this may not be the case on application.
