This is a resin model built from the Unicraft kit. Not designed for beginners, and certainly NOT an easy build! Although there are very few pieces, the resin casting was poor, with many trapped air bubbles, and the fit of parts was not good.
I had a lot of trouble getting everything to fit, and the wing-to-fuselage joint was a nightmare - at least one joint is now more superglue than resin as a result of my not using any strengthening pins...
The colour scheme is based on the Eagle scheme, although I used a different light grey as the photographs I've seen suggest this.
The really annoying thing - a week after I completed this, someone posted a completed walk-around of the real thing in the US National Air & Space Museum!
