During the early days of Red Flag, the Royal Air Force sent a number of Buccaneers to compete - they proved impressive with their fast low-level attacks, which were highly accurate despite the aircraft's lack of terrain-following radar and other modern avionics.
The aircraft were used to test disruptive camouflage schemes for the RAF Buccaneer and XV352 was painted in one of the early trial schemes.
