Chris St Clair provides a walkaround of WB-66D 55-395 at the Pima Air & Space Museum. The photos were taken during two visits, one during September 2018 and the other in December 2022.
A number of interesting details came out of the second visit, including:
- The detail inside the engine intakes
- The engine pylons are offset on the intakes, not along the centreline
- The main undercarriage bays are partially open (i.e. you can see right through!)
- The windows for the ECM operators under the wings
