Aztec Models sheet 72-085 provdes markings for a number of T-6 Texan IIs. Included is one USAF aircraft:

  • 99-3549 from the 455th FTS, painted to represent B-26s as flown during WW2. It wore overall Dark Green (FS14062) with Canadian Grey lower surfaces (FS16515). It carried black and white invasion stripes on the rear fuselage and wings, and white "U.S. AIR FORCE" markings on the forward fuselage. It carried a white fin band and Insignia Yellow "AP" tailcodes. "YU-A" and "A-YU" individual markings were carried either side of the star'n'bar on the rear fuselage.

The instructions are in full color and provide a four view of the aircraft, together with additional black-and-white pages with color information.

The decals provide the bar minimum markings, requiring the modeller to mask and paint the invasion markings and fin band. They are in good register and appropriately opaque.
