Print Scale sheet 72-475 provides markings for 10 U-2A, U-2R and TR-1A/B aircraft and includes the following airframes:
- U-2R 68-10331 from the 6th SRS, 9th SRW based at Osan AB, South Korea. It was painted overall black with a red outline cat with white whiskers and a red serial on the fin.
- TR-1A 80-0182. It was overall black with a full color bulldog on the fin together with red serials.
- U-2R 68-10338, painted overall black with a white outline snoopy and red serial on the fin.
- TR-1B 80-1091, painted overall black with full color snoopy artwork on the fin, together with red serials.
- U-2A 'NACA 320' in February 1957. it was overall natural metal with a yellow fin band outlined in black and containing the NACA logo in black.
- U-2A 55741, painted overall black with white serials and a yellow fin band containing "NASA" in black.
- TR-1A 80-1074, painted overall black with full color tail art, red serials and 4 red iron crosses in a band on the fin.
- U-2R 68-10338 Senior Span, painted overall black with full color tail art, red serials and 4 red iron crosses in a band on the fin. The Senior Span radome on the upper fuselage also carried a red and white shark mouth.TR-1A 80-1099, painted overall black with full color tail art, red serials and 4 red iron crosses in a band on the fin.
- TR-1A 80-1084, painted overall black with full color tail art, red serials and 4 red iron crosses in a band on the fin.
Instructions provide a side view of each aircraft, although very little information is provided about each airframe and scheme.
The decals are provided on two sheets - one approximately A6 containing the color markings and a second (approximately half the size) providing a set of black wing walks for one aircraft.
As is often the case with Print Scale, the decals are both insufficiently opaque (particularly the white but also the yellow and red) and slightly out of register in some cases.
