Chris St Clair reviews FabScale sheet FD72002 which provides the 50th Anniversary markings for F-16C 87-0234. This aircraft wore the standard three-tone grey scheme (F36118, FS-36270 and FS36375). The fin and rudder were painted red and wore a large full-color minuteman superimpsed over a US flag, with "Madison" in white script on the upper fin and "115 Fighter Wing" on the lower fin.
The decals provide only the individual markings, with the modeller painting the fin red first - this is an effective approach that reduces both cost and size of the decal sheet.
The decals are in good register and appear opaque.
Instructions comprise a single-sided A4 sheet in full color.
FabScale is a relatively new decal producer and this is a recommended product!
