This sheet from Wolfpak focusses on Vietnam aircraft which flew over and around the Ho Chi Minh trail. Types covered are the OP-2E, O-2, F-111A, F-100F, AC-119K and EC-121R.
The following airframes are featured:-
- OP-2E 131423 from VO-67 based at Nakhon Phanom RTAFB during 1967. Whilst this is a Navy aircraft, it was technically assigned to the 504th TASG, 7th AF. The aircraft was painted overall FS34102
- O-2A-CE 67-21418 from the 23rd TASS, 504th TASG based at Nakhon Phanom RTAFB during 1968, painted overall black
- F-111A 67-0034 "NC" from the 430th TFS, 474th TFW, Nellis AFB during 1970, painted in the standard SEA scheme of FS34079, FS34102, FS30219 and FS36622
- F-111A 67-0094 "HG" from the 430th TFS, 347th TFW based at Korat RTAFB during 1975 - this aircraft was the Mayaguez gunboat killer and was painted in the modified SEA scheme, replacing the underside FS36622 with black
- EC-121R 67-21473 from the 553rd RS, 553rd RW based at Korat RTAFB in the standard SEA scheme
- AC-119K 53-7830 "Fly United" from the 18th SOS, 14th SOW based at Nha Trang AFB, South Vietnam . This aricraft had SEA scheme upper surfaces (FS34079, FS34102, FS30219) with black lower surfaces and sides
- F-100F 58-1221 from Det 1, 6234th TFW based at Korat RTAFB. This was a Wild Weasel aircraft and gained the first SAM site kill. It was painted in the standard SEA scheme of FS34079, FS34102, FS30219 and FS36622
For each airframe WolfPak include a side view with details of where individual markings are placed, copies of the relevant page of TO 1-1-4, and additional photographs where relevant. These are black and white photocopies, with the side views in colour.
Additionally, for each airframe, WolfPak provide a history of the aircraft with additional details of markings and specific colours (with FS595a references). Details of weapons loadouts are also provided.
