This sheet from Wolfpak Decals focusses on aircraft operated from RAF Mildenhall and also by the Ohio ANG.  It features 5 different types - the EC-135H "Silver Dollar", B-2A "Spirit", A-37B, A-7K "SLUF" and F-100D Super Sabre.

The airframes covered are as follows:-

  • EC-135H 61-0285 from the 10th ACCS, 513th ACCW based at RAF Mildenhall, UK during 1988.  The aircraft is in FS17875 Gloss White over FS16743 Aircraft Grey, with a blue cheatline
  • B-2A 82-1070 "Spirit of Ohio" from the 393rd BS, 509th BW based at Whiteman AFB, Missouri during 2007 and painted overall FS36118 Gunship Grey
  • A-37B 68-7927 "IY" from the 757th SOS, 910th SOG based at Youngstown, MAP during 1975.  It is in the standard South East Asian (SEA) scheme of FS34079 Dark Green, FS34102 Medium Green and FS30219 Tan over FS36622 Light Grey
  • A-7K 81-0074 "OH" from the 166th TFS, 121st TFW based at Rickenbacker AFB, Ohio during 1989.  The aircraft is painted in the two tone grey scheme of FS26118 and FS26270
  • F-100D 56-2947 of the 162nd TFS, 121st TFW from Springfield Ohio during 1970.  The aircraft is painted in the standard SEA scheme

As usual, the sheet is well printed (by Fantasy Printshop) with everything in register, the decal film itself is thin and there is very little overlap of film.  Wolfpak provide a supplementary sheet with additional blue cheatlines for the EC-135H.

The instructions comprise a set of side profiles printed in colour, black and white copies of the relevant camouflage schemes and complete detail (both historical and modelling) for each airframe.

Again, a nice sheet, and I can see at least 3 of the schemes featured ending up on my models!
