This sheet from Wolfpak Decals is dedicated to the aircraft of Strategic Air Command, and features 5 different types - B-47E, U-2C, T-33A, B-52H and C-47A. The airframes covered are as follows:-

  • B-47E-30-DT 52-0283 from the 509th BW based at Pease AFB, New Hampshire.  This airframe is painted in the standard SAC scheme of overall bare metal with gloss white undersides, U.S.AIR FORCE in blue on the fuselage sides and the SAC band on the nose;
  • B-47E-30-LM 52-0184 from the 100th BW based at Pease AFB, New Hampshire.  This airframe is painted identically to -0283;
  • T-33A-5-LO 58-0696 from the 509th BW, Pease AFB, New Hampshire.  Overall polished aluminium with a SAC band behind the canopy on both sides and white flashes on the tip tanks containing "509th BW PEASE AFB NH" in blue;
  • U-2C 56-6680 from the 100th SRW based at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona during 1975.  This aircraft is depicted during operations from the UK and Middle East, when it was painted in a "less threatening" scheme called the Sabre scheme, comprising FS27780 gret and FS25630 pale blue;
  • C-47A-20-DK 42-93185 from the 100th OMS, 100th BW at Pease AFB, New Hampshire.  It was painted with a Grey FS16473 lower half and gloss white FS17875 upper half and a blue cheatline, with a SAC band on both sides behind the wings;
  • B-52H-165-BW 61-0003 from the 28th BW at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota during 1979.  This aircraft is painted in the SIOP scheme of Green FS34079, Green FS34159, Tan FS34201 and White FS17875.

The sheet is well printed with everything in register, the decal film itself is thin and there is very little overlap of film.

The instructions are printed in a mixture of color and B&W and comprise colour side views together with B&W camouflage scheme diagrams, color details and additional references.
