The first of (hopefully) many F-15 sheets in 1/72, CD72013 from Caracal Models covers 11 F-15C/D models from the Montana, Massachusetts and (both) Oregon ANG units.
- F-15C 84-0031 from the 142nd FW, Oregon ANG during 2012. Full color bird on the fin with a red fin stripe containing "PORTLAND, OR" in white and black tail codes;
- F-15C 84-0005 from the 142nd FW, Oregon ANG during 2011. Black fin bird, red fin stripe and grey markings;
- F-15D 85-0130 from the 142nd FW, Oregon ANG during 2013. Black fin bird, red fin stripe and grey markings;
- F-15C 78-0547 from the 173rd FW, Oregon ANG during 2012. Full color eagle on the fin, together with black tail codes;
- F-15C 79-0076 from the 173rd FW, Oregon ANG during 2011. Black and grey eagle with grey tail codes and "KINGSLEY FIELD" on the fin;
- F-15D 82-0046 from the 173rd FW, Oregon ANG during 2013 Black and grey eagle with grey tail codes and "KINGSLEY FIELD" on the fin;
- F-15C 80-0048 from the 120th FW, Montana ANG during 2010. Black and grey steer head on the fin, together with black and white tail codes;
- F-15C 80-0010 from the 120th FW, Montana ANG during 2011. Black and grey steer head on the fin, together with black and white tail codes;
- F-15D 81-0062 from the 120th FW, Montana ANG during 2010. Black and grey steer head on the fin, together with black and white tail codes;
- F-15C 85-0118 from the 104th FW, Massachusetts ANG during 2011. Black "MA" unit identier and tail codes, together with red fin stripe and mountain man on the inside of each fin;
- F-15D 85-0133 from the 104th FW, Massachusetts ANG during 2011. Black "MA" unit identier and tail codes, together with red fin stripe and mountain man on the inside of each fin.
All aircraft are in the standard Mod Eagle scheme, comprising Dark Grey (FS36176) and Light Grey (FS36251).
Instructions follow the usual Caracal standard - in this case, 3 sides of full color A4. Each airframe has a single (left) side view, with scrap views being provided where necessary. Upper and lower camouflage scheme details are also included.
There are two decal sheets - the main sheet and an insert containing markings from the Massachusetts ANG aircraft. As usual, the decals are printed by Cartograf and are in perfect register.
There have not been many decal sheets which feature ANG F-15s, so this sheet is highly recommended!
