Wolfpak Decals sheet 72-105 covers most of the Heater-Ferris splinter-camouflaged USAF test aircraft. The subjects include:

  • F-15A-10-MC 74-0089 of the 58th TFTW at Luke AFB in May 1976. This carried a splinter disruptive scheme comprising Dark Gull Grey FS36231, Light Gull Grey FS36440 and Medium Grey FS36320. Markings were limited to grey serial numbers on the fin and the aircraft carried a black false canopy under the fuselage;
  • F-15B-8-MC 73-0111 of the 58th TFTW at Luke AFB in May 1976. Marked identically to 74-0089 but with different greys - Dark Gull Grey FS36231, Light Gull Grey FS36440 and Gunship Grey FS36118;
  • F-15A-11-MC 74-0110 of the 58th TFTW at Luke AFB in May 1976. It carried an identical scheme and markings to 74-0089 but the greys used were Dark Gull Grey FS36231, Light Gull Grey FS36440 and Light Grey FS36622;
  • F-16B-15F 81-0817 from the Combined Test Force (CTF) at Edwards AFB during 1986 and carried a four-tone grey scheme comprising Gunship Grey FS36118, Light Ghost Grey FS36375, Intermediate Grey I (25/75 mix of FS36118 and FS36375) and Intermediate Grey II (50/50 mix of FS36118 and FS36375). The only markings were tail codes, in two shades of grey;
  • F-16XL 75-0747 from the Combined Test Force (CTF) at Edwards AFB during July 1983. It was painted in a four-tone grey scheme comprising comprising Gunship Grey FS36118, Light Ghost Grey FS36375, Intermediate Grey I (25/75 mix of FS36118 and FS36375) and Intermediate Grey II (50/50 mix of FS36118 and FS36375). Tailcodes were white;
  • F-4C-15-MC 63-7411 from the 58th TFTW at Luke AFB during June 1976. It carried a three-tone-grey scheme comprising Dark Gull Grey FS36231, Light Gull Grey FS36440 and Gunship Grey FS36118. It carried dark light grey tail codes and a black false canopy;
  • F-4C-20-MC 63-7598 from the 58th TFTW at Luke AFB during June 1976, painted and marked identically to 63-7411 but with a slightly different false canopy;
  • F-5E 74-1508 from 65th AS at Nellis AFB during June 1976. It carried a three-tone grey scheme comprising Dark Gull Grey FS36231, Light Gull Grey FS36440 and Gunship Grey FS36118 with a dark grey false canopy and tailcodes in medium grey.

Wolfpak provide a full colour 3 view of the camouflage schemes for the F-16XL, F-16B and F-15A/B, and black and white camouflage schemes for the F-5E and F-4C. Full history and colour information is provided for each aircraft. Decals are printed by Fantasy Printshop.
