Spectre Resins is a new range of resin accessories produced by Mark S Bilas of Wolfpack Decals fame. This is his first release, the B28RI nuclear weapon (previously the Mk28).
The B28RI was carried by a number of USAF fighters and bombers, including the F-100, F-104, F-105, B-47, B-52 and B-66. It was produced between 1958 and 1966 and there were around 20 different variants.
Spectre's weapon is cast in a dark grey resin which is quite unusual compared to the normal tan and is crisply moulded. Detail is sparse, but so was the real thing! The instructions are a single sheet, with a comprehensive history of the weapon.
This both a great start to Spectre Resins' range, and a really useful item in it's own right!
