DXM Decals sheet 72041 provides markings for the Oregon ANG's F-15C 75th Anniversary Jet. 79-xxxx was specially marked as "Sandman" and carried a three tone scheme comprising FS34079 and FS34087 upper surfaces with FS36375 lower surfaces. it carried black and white invasion stripes on the wings and lower fuselage. On top of this, orange and black chequers and artwork was carried on the outer vertical fins , wingtips, horizontal tail surfaces and the nose, together with "SANDMAN". The inner fins carried an image of David R. Kingsley.
The instructions comprise a double-sided A4 sheet with full colour four view drawings of the aircraft with additional scrap views and callouts for the markings.
The decal sheet is printed by Cartograf and provides ALL markings for the scheme, including the invasion markings. NOTE that the photos shown here do not accurately depict the decals, as the main color is a bright orange.
Whilst this scheme may not be for everyone, the sheet is highly recommended if you like colorful F-15s!
