Types Featured F-15C, A-10A, F-16C, RF-101A

Wolfpak Decals sheet 12-16 "Thank You" was Wolfpak's "free" sheet for 2016 and featured an F-15C from the 57th FWW as used for testing F-15E Strike Eagle paint schemes, an A-10A from the 355th TFW, an F-16C from the 56th FW and an RF-101A painted in an experimental green camouflage scheme. The aircraft are:-

  • F-15C-34-MC 82-0028 "WA" from the 57th FWW, based at Nellis AFB during 1986. It was painted in an experimental scheme for the F-15E, comprising FS36118, FS36307, FS36287 and FS36375. It carried standard 57th FWW markings, comprising black "WA" tailcodes, a yellow/black chequered tail band and an eagle on the inner fins. The 57th FWW emblem was carried on the intakes;
  • A-10A 75-0260 "DM" from the 355th TFW at Davis-Monthan AFB during 1976. This was painted overall Light Ghost Grey FS 36375 with all markings in black;
  • F-16C-42D 88-0514 "HO" from the 314th FS, 54th FG based at Holloman AFB during August 2016. It carried the standard Hill Grey II scheme, comprising Gunship Grey FS36118 over Neutral Grey FS36270;
  • RF-101A-30-MC 54-1513 from the 363rd TRW based at Shaw AFB in December 1964. This was painted overall Medium Green FS34102 with full colour national markings and "U.S. AIR FORCE" on the nose together with a yellow lightning flash containing a TAC badge on the fin.

The instructions and decals are to Wolfpak's usual standard, with a side vew of each aircraft, detailed weapons loadout and color information, and full history. Decals are printed by Fantasy Printshop.

Unfortunately, this sheet was never available for sale, but does cover some interesting subjects.
