Euro Decals sheet ED-72124 provides markings for four F-4C/E Phantoms of the 57th FIS based at Naval Air Station Keflavik, Iceland. The aircraft are:

  • F-4E-33-MC 66-0370 during 1985. This was overall gloss ADC Grey (FS16473) with a black radome and anti-glare panel. The fin-tip carried black-and-white chequers and the intake splitter carried vertical red/white/blue/white/red bands with the squadron badge superimposed. A stylised helmet (the emblem of the 57th) was carried on the left intake;
  • F-4E-32-MC 66-0300 during 1977. This was overall gloss ADC Grey (FS16473) with a black radome, anti-glare panel, windshield and canopy rails. The fin-tip carried black-and-white chequers and these were repeated in a band on the lower fin, with the serial superimposed. The stylised helmet emblem was carried on the upper fin;
  • F-4E-32-MC 66-0334 on 1st May, 1978.This wore the South East Asian scheme, comprising Dark Green FS34079, Medium Green FS34102 and Tan FS30219 upper surfaces with Light Grey FS36622 lower surfaces. The radome was black. The fin-tip and intake splitters wore black-and-white chequers and these were repeated in a band on the lower fin, with the serial superimposed. The stylised helmet emblem was carried on the upper fin;
  • F-4C-22-MC 64-0685 during 1974. This wore the South East Asian scheme, comprising Dark Green FS34079, Medium Green FS34102 and Tan FS30219 upper surfaces with Light Grey FS36622 lower surfaces. The radome was black. The rudder carried black-and-white chequers with the squadron and Iceland Air Defence Force emblems on the fin.

Instructions are in full colour and provide four views of each aircraft with colour callouts. The decals are printed by Fantasy Printshop in perfect register and include the white areas for the black and white chequered areas on the fin - those for the intake splitters and rudder will need to be painted white first.
